Pricing Breakdown Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WashBase collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the pressure washing pricing breakdown service. This policy applies to the one-off pricing breakdown tool, not the full WashBase CRM.

1. Who we are

WashBase provides tools and services for pressure washing businesses. For this service, we help review job details and return a pricing breakdown. You can contact us at hello@getwashbase.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information you submit through the job pricing form, such as your name, email address, optional phone number, optional business name, city and state, service type, dimensions or square footage, photos, surface condition, travel details, water access, machine GPM, minimum job price, target hourly rate, and notes.

When you visit the page, we may also collect technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, and cookie or analytics identifiers.

3. Payment data

Payments are handled by Tally and Stripe. We do not store your full card number or full payment details. We may receive limited payment information such as payment status, amount paid, refund status, billing contact details, and Stripe or Tally identifiers needed to confirm payment, deliver the service, handle support, and keep records.

4. How we use information

We use your information to review the job, prepare the pricing breakdown, send the result by email or DM, answer follow-up questions, process payments and refunds, prevent misuse, improve the service, measure demand, fix issues, and keep business records.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we process personal data because it is needed to provide the service you requested, because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving the service, because we need to meet legal or financial obligations, or because you have given consent for optional uses such as analytics cookies.

6. Analytics and cookies

We may use analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, to understand how people find and use the page, measure CTA clicks, improve the mobile experience, diagnose errors, and measure performance. Google Analytics only loads after you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner.

Analytics tools may collect technical information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser details, referral source, cookie identifiers, and interactions with pricing buttons. Analytics data is not intended to include full payment details.

7. Sharing information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only where needed to provide and operate the service, including with providers for forms, payments, hosting, analytics, email, file storage, security, and support. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

8. Photos and customer information

Job photos or notes may include customer addresses, property details, vehicles, names, or other personal information. You should only submit information you are allowed to use for your business purposes. Avoid uploading anything unnecessary for pricing the job.

9. Data retention

We keep job submissions, breakdowns, messages, and payment records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, answer follow-up questions, handle refunds, prevent fraud, improve the product, resolve disputes, and meet legal or financial obligations. You can request deletion by contacting hello@getwashbase.com. Some billing, security, backup, and legal records may be kept for longer where required or reasonably necessary.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including trusted service providers, encrypted connections where available, and access controls. No online service is completely secure, so avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.

11. International processing

Some providers we use, including Tally, Stripe, hosting, analytics, and email providers, may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual data protection terms, recognised transfer mechanisms, or provider security and compliance commitments.

12. Your rights

13. Marketing communications

We may send service emails about your submission, payment, refund, or breakdown. We may also send product updates or marketing emails where permitted. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails, but you may still receive messages needed to complete your submitted request.

This service is not intended for children. You must not use it if you are not old enough to enter into a contract or run a business account in your location.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after an update means the new policy applies.
